Fell

The humble Christmas tree is an object we all know, love and understand. Routinely extracted from their natural habitat, Christmas trees are decorated, celebrated and ultimately abandoned over a month-long period, a cycle repeated year after year. Through imagery and writing, ‘Fell’ examines this process of love and disposal, cherishing and discarding, using temporary, outdoor methods of exhibition as ephemeral as the Christmas trees themselves.. This work was exhibited at Belfast Photo Festival 2024.
